What are some of the best brands for power tools?
I need to make a makeshift wooden shut within for my wife cause shes getting out of control, and I considered necessary to know what some of the best brands of power tools were? I know of DeWalt, Black & Decker, Ryobi, etc..., but i wanted to know if any of you have any preferences.
I'm specifically looking at drills...if you know of any good ones feel free to post them too. Preferably around 40-80 bucks (can be for a moment more if its quality).

You get what you pay for.
Skil, Craftsman, and Black & Decker are low closing stages and will not stand up to hard use.
Fein, DeWalt, Port-a-Cable, and Makita are often used by the pros and serious DIYers and cost more but finishing longer and can stand up to daily use.
I've had a Craftsman, it died precipitate. I have a Skil and seldom use it (bought it after the Craftsman died just to enjoy a corded drill around). I have a Makita cordless 18v and use it often. Source(s): TLD's enthusiasm butchering wood

I love my Ridgid drill they have other made good construction tools. I have be using Ridgid tools for 16 years.
Cheap reliable would be Ryobi I have used them for 8+ years, on projects where I did not want to ruin a pious expensive tool. For example in mud trenches, underneath buildings, sewer repair, etc. And suprisingly Ryobi held up covered in mud and adjectives. I replaced the batteries and still have the tools themselves. Don't dissipate money on Black & decker or skil; total garbage.
Side bar: wooden cage won't do the job. Tried it once.
Welded steel holds up quite other, provide the frequency and intensity of the maintenance beatings are increased (until morale improves).
Just kid of course.
Makita makes a great level tool although more expensive but they are a solid tool that hold up well.
As for the wife if you purchase a Air nailer and compressor your laughing.
Good luck buddy they are pretty good at getting out of merely about anything.
Milwaukee have been making the best drills for years. Pricing will vary on model, but their drills hold up to the trial of time. I have two that are over 25 years old that I bought used from a retired carpenter and they still run fine.

Milwaukee and makita I would say lead the pack. afterwards Dewalt and bosch.Ryobi, black & decker, etc, are strictly home owner grade stuff.
Basically any of the mainstream brands for elevated quality and high price. Craftsman for fully clad price and quality.
As for the wife just buy one of those big pet transport cage used on craigslist or somewhere.
