Best brand of tools? dewalt, craftsman milwaukee?

im asking for a new tool collection and i want the best value for money for my alien sets. what brand is best hands down?
Answers:
Definitely Dewalt for the power tools... craftsman isnt the extraordinarily best but prob the best when it comes to affordability/quality.
For cordless tools, Dewalt, Milwaukee, or Makita, surrounded by that order. Hilti makes really awesome stuff, but the cost is really awesome too. Kobalt tools sold at Lowes are made by Snap-on, and come across to take most of the abuse I throw at them, and I throw greatly. Allen, Klein, General, Mayhew, Marshalltown, Irwin, Vise Grip, Channel Lock, Proto, Hanson, Starrett, Brown & Sharpe, Mitutoyo, and Crescent all make appropriate hand and measuring tools. Bosch, Fein, Festool, Dewalt, Milwaukee, and Hitachi engineer good power tools, with Fein and Festool one the best, with the highest price. Delta isn't fruitless, neither is Jet, but they aren't as good as they used to be. If you can find old used Delta or Jet, by adjectives means, they are worth the price of a few repairs. Another company I have be impressed with is Grizzly, www.grizzly.com for power tools. (Table saw, drill press, etc.) Craftsman is crap, I don't care what anyone say. Sears has been stealing patent and planning obsolescence for years, and they pay Bob Vila A LOT of money to say those things. In accessory, replacement parts are hard to get. Cheap appendage tools with a lifetime warranty might get you through one duty, but they guarantee a lot of exchanges. Spend a couple extra dollars to get better stuff , you'll not regret it. You can also return with good opinions on tools from your local mechanic, or a clerk at an antediluvian style hardware store. Most salespeople at home improvement centers and similar places don't use what they sell, and in consequence their opinion can be biased by vendors. For hand tools Snap On is a really good brand but expensive...
If you really abuse your tools like I do, Milwaukee is the authoritative choice. Their tools are powerful, and practically indestructible. Others seem like toys contained by comparison.
I hold some of all 3.........My dewalt are great, but so is the milwaukee. I like the milwaukee near cords the best........craftsman are so, so..........except for the wrenches.......if you are the average handyman, their wrenches are fine.
Craftsman is for people that can't afford Dewalt.Dewalt is for people that can't afford Milwaukee. Source(s): master carpenter 25 years
Dewalt is the process to go when getting powertools. I work in construction and they later long and take a beating.
If you can afford it, Hilti is the ultimate. Dewalt is what I usually use as well as Millwaukee and Makita cordless drills.
it depends on the tool. hand tools;Klein, for heavy tack hammer drilling;Hilti, cordless drill;dewalt, corded drill;dewalt, miter saw;Milwaukee, wrenches and socket sets;craftsman.
I prefer Dewalt power tools and Craftsman wrenches. They never permit me down
Milwaukee
Dewalt
Craftsman

In that order. All three are worthy tools. Stay away from Black and Decker, they are Chinese junk now days.
