What brand of laptop computer would you suggest for me?
I'm looking to buy a laptop but not sure of specifications and everying of what I could get. I would like one great internet, instant messenger, gaming and student work (As I will be going to college surrounded by 2 years). Any suggestions on a brand?

HP's are ok Dell's are good specially the XPS. Sony make excellent lap tops. Im not sure how good gateway laptops are, but nearby towers have a bad history next to me.
Apple makes excellent laptops. Their MacBook is a great choice for students as it is compact plenty to easily carry around next to you, but also fairly rugged, and very briskly. In addition, you most likely will never catch a virus on your computer.
Plus Apple has excellent discounts for students.

the sony vaio is pretty good, ive have it about a year with no problems, ive also hear the the macbook is good, but expensive, but i know theres a huge sale on them at the hornet bookstore,(in sacramento, ca) but you could probably buy one offline and enjoy it shippped

toshiba satellite..best comp i ever owned.. its great. great memory, speed, and looks good too. i use it for school adjectives time and its not heavy fits right into my bag. i also play tons of games

If not Dell and HP are very pious for the money.
Dont buy the cheapest laptop there is a reason it is the cheapest. By the middle 600-800 should be greatly good for your purpose.

I would definately say the Acer Travel Mate 6292 Series. It is street light and compact that stores anything that you need. Easy and effiecient to use it its the simplest thing to bring around considering it is solely a few kilos in weight and when shut, the size of an A4 sheet of treatise. As for going to college, this is the simplest thing to bring around and is pretty cheap and effiecient. I rate it 10/10
